New look SilverStripe websites launched

SilverStripe is both the name for our free software as well as our company, so we’ve recently relaunched our website to make it easier to learn about the two different interests.

silverstripe.com is now the home for the company, and silverstripe.org is the new home for our software and the open source community! We did this because you asked us to - read Brian’s blog post to learn more.

We seem to be doing more and more video effects for presentations and promo cds and I have managed to find Video Co Pilot which has a load of great Adobe After Effects tutorials on the site for you to watch and download. You can also download the projects and assets for you to working along with while watching the tutorial!

Oh and I  have also found that the Creative Cow is a great place for tutorials and help with After Effects.

Copy Paste Character

Working in digital as we do, there are a few things that frustrate. One such thing for me personally, is that keyboards don’t have every single character on them. Asian and US keyboards don’t have the £, and often the # is nowhere to be seen too.  This makes the whole website creation thing a touch annoying at the best of times for designers and developers who have to change character sets or use the ‘insert character’ function. Not very simple!

Well now, it is simple. Copy Paste Character is here to save you!

Lovely micro-site from Fosters that actually lets you control a little mini sub in a tank of water.
