I recently got a new camera for Christmas with face recognition software in. Simply point the camera at someone, and white boxes pick out the faces in the photo. Well, a company called Viewdle have done the same with online video. After indexing faces in videos, this central information can then be used in blogs and websites, as demonstrated here.
I think it’s a really nice idea, and could be used in viral campaigns.
